About Watling Park School
Welcome to Watling Park School. We are a free school serving the community of Burnt Oak in Edgware (London), and the surrounding areas in our modern building with excellent facilities. We opened our doors in September 2015 for children aged 4-11 years old.
We pride ourselves on offering a broad, exciting curriculum for all children which builds on their own strengths and interests, while supporting each child’s developmental needs, through exploration, creativity and practical application. We strive to equip each and every pupil with the skills, knowledge, understanding and mindset to succeed in the next stage of their education and throughout their life.
We are a friendly and inclusive school. Everything we do rests on the strong foundation of our and the Bellevue Place Education Trust's values for all children to ‘learn, enjoy and succeed’.
We believe that a child’s education is a partnership between home and school and, as such, we want to work closely with parents to create a learning environment where children feel safe, happy, well-motivated and healthy. We work hard to support all children to grow and flourish as confident individuals with high personal aspirations and a lifelong love of learning. We celebrate diversity and teach children to recognise and respect individual differences as well as similarities.
Our staff work tirelessly to ensure that each and every child is encouraged and challenged, make excellent progress and achieve their full potential. We offer a knowledge-rich curriculum driven by high-quality teaching within a calm and nurturing learning environment. Our children are kind, respectful and a pleasure to teach.
