About the role
We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic individual for wraparound support who are responsible for the delivery of our children in year groups from nursery to year 6. The postholder will supervise safe, age-appropriate play opportunities and assisting sessions of sport, drama, arts and crafts activities for children.
We
are looking for someone who:

Understands
their role in safeguarding and protecting children

Can
engage with children in a fun, enjoyable and appropriate manner.

Can
deliver high quality, balanced, lively daily programme of play opportunities
· Can work efficiently as part of a vibrant team.
All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.

The post is exempt
