Victoria School is a large special school for students aged 2 to 19 years who have cognition and learning difficulties, in addition to physical disabilities and/or complex health care needs. 

At Victoria  all of our students are valued and every achievement celebrated.  Our students are amazing and their love of school and of learning is unmistakable. The staff at Victoria feel very privileged to work with such fantastic children and young people.

Victoria challenges pupils to achieve through a broad and rich curriculum that promotes not only subject knowledge but also independence skills, so that our students are best prepared for moving through the school and beyond.  Our curriculum is adapted to meet our individual students' needs, which you will be able to see as you look through our website.

Our driven staff team are highly skilled in ensuring that our students have a voice and that they feel safe and valued at school.  We create and maintain strong links with families; beginning from even before your child starts at school, through visiting the family at home and transition sessions into their new class, right the way through to supporting the families and students as they leave Victoria. 

We are fortunate to have a number of professionals on site to further support our pupils, such as the nursing, physiotherapy and speech and language therapy teams.  It is only through this joined up approach, keeping our students and families as the focus of everything we do, that we are able to “work together for success”.
