Veritas Primary Academy is a school that thinks and dreams big for its pupils.

Expectations are high for all who make up the Veritas community and these standards are reflected in the wonderful physical environment we have developed to enable children to flourish within and beyond the school walls. We are committed to developing learners who are aspirational in their goals, learners who are offered high quality enrichment; learners who have opportunities in order to be well prepared to be successful citizens of the 21st century.

Veritas Primary Academy opened as a brand new primary academy in September 2015, and has since established itself as a ‘Good’ school with Outstanding aspects of personal development and nurture (Ofsted inspection 2018, read report here). Starting a school ‘from scratch’ is both a great privilege and an enormous undertaking. Our building refurbishment has turned a classic large library building into a bright, modern and inspiring learning environment and we are continuing to invest in our setting – offering up-to-date technology and vibrant teaching and learning spaces for our pupils and staff. The school has worked hard during these formative years to establish its ethos and core values resulting in a happy, inspiring learning environment where children are motivated to achieve and where staff are encouraged, supported and developed to continually strive for excellence.

      NJC SCP2 FTE £24,413, 11.15am-1.30pm Mon-Fri, Term Time only plus 5 INSET days. Initially fixed term to 31/08/2026.
