About Uplands Primary School and Nursery

Uplands opened in 1962 and was built on the site of ‘Uplands House’. We are a one-form-entry primary school in Sandhurst, which is dedicated to having and ensuring high standards for pupils and staff, as well as a culture of support and challenge.
Children are at the heart of all decisions, and we are committed to providing the best possible education.
At Uplands, exciting and creative lessons are planned enthusiastically and ensure that children have a chance to succeed in all areas of life. This means that all subjects are given importance and are taught in full.
We are a caring community, with staff and families referring to the school as a ‘family’, and the children are proud and happy to be at Uplands.
