On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I warmly welcome you to Tysoe Church of England Primary School.
We hope that our website will give you a taste of what life is like at Tysoe. We aim to nurture our children’s talents and abilities, providing opportunities for each child to reach their full potential and to be happy, confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners.
We are a welcoming, inclusive school set in the heart of the village of Tysoe. We fully understand the importance of working in partnership with parents and carers for the best outcomes for children and we actively encourage their involvement in the children’s learning, as well as fostering opportunities for the pupils themselves to be actively involved in school life and take pride in their own learning.
Our vision is derived from the parable of The Mustard Seed – from a tiny seed a community was able to grow and flourish, nurturing and serving others, and providing a place of love and learning. We aim to develop an excellent school that serves our local community. We have close links to the local church and work in partnership to ensure that Christian values are evident in everything that we do.
We ensure that every child is treated as an individual and that their gifts and talents are recognised and nurtured, and their achievements celebrated. Through nurturing our children, both academically and spiritually, we aim to provide them with secure foundations for life, so that they leave Tysoe with an excellent all-round education, a love of learning and the ability to recognise and celebrate their own talents and strengths.
As Headteacher, I feel privileged to be leading a wonderful school and to be working with such a motivated and talented group of children, staff and governors. We are often praised for the excellent behaviour of our children and for the warm welcome that visitors receive. Visits to our school are encouraged so that you are able to sample for yourself life at Tysoe C of E Primary.
Ms. Paige Allister, Headteacher
