Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist teachers with classroom activities and provide support to students.
2. Help organise and supervise extracurricular activities and school events.
3. Support administrative tasks as needed.
4. Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all students.
5. Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines.
6. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of students and staff.
7. Act as a positive role model for students.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers.
4. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
5. Willingness to complete required training, including Keeping Children Safe in Education Training.
6. Basic understanding of educational practices and child development (preferred but not essential).

Training and Support:

1. Volunteers will receive an induction session to familiarise them with school policies, procedures, and their specific duties.
2. Ongoing training opportunities will be available to support volunteers in their roles.
3. Volunteers will be assigned a staff member who will provide supervision and support.
