Thomas Whitehead CE Academy joined the Diocese of St Albans Multi Academy Trust on 1st April 2017. The Academy has an on-site pre-school and nursery taking children from 2 years of age to 11 years.

Thomas Whitehead CE Academy is a Church of England School where we are proud to follow Christian Values, which are embedded into the daily life of the school. Through providing a rich curriculum and opportunities for reflection and worship our aim is to create wise, hopeful, aspirational, independent, resilient, reflective, determined and respectful learners who will be supported and empowered to be the best they can be. Whilst we shall continue to offer a varied and enriched curriculum through, music, sports, visits and visitors, I will also be ensuring the children excel in the core skills of reading, writing and maths and that we focus on maximising the progress of each and every child.
