About The Hereford Church of England Academy
At The Hereford Academy we believe that the student should be at the
centre of everything that we do and that our core purpose is to raise their
aspirations and ensure that all our students have the best educational
experience possible, which provides them with the outcomes they need to
progress in the direction of their choosing. We value each and every individual
within the academy.
We are determined to give our students an academy and an education which
they deserve and can be proud of and we will continue to improve until we reach
our aim of becoming an outstanding academy.
Our students, your son(s)/daughter(s), only get one main chance of an
education, one main chance to flourish and prepare for adult life. We strive to
give our students the very best because it is what every child deserves.
At The Hereford Academy we care about our academy, we respect others and
we do our best. We expect our students to:
• work hard and do their work to
the best of their ability;
• get involved in all
that the academy has to offer both in and out of the classroom;
• attend punctually,
every day and in full uniform;
• show respect and
courtesy to those around them and to our academy;
Our students are smart, purposeful and courteous. They work with
commitment in all aspects of academy life. They are supported by a dedicated
team of pastoral staff who expect the most from them.
We aim that students should follow a curriculum which suits their preferred way of working, interests, and ability and future aspirations. The curriculum offered enhances students’ learning, attainment and achievement and helps them develop the skills required to compete in this changing world and to have the confidence and resilience to succeed to the highest level.
