About this Role

Over the past two years the school has introduced a 1:1 iPad programme in Years 3 to 6, alongside significant investment in digital infrastructure, learning platforms and staff development. All teachers are Apple Teachers, classrooms are equipped with Apple TVs, and pupils benefit from a well-developed digital ecosystem supported by Jamf device management, Showbie as the learning platform and a strong digital infrastructure across the campus.

The next phase of our journey is to embed technology thoughtfully and creatively across the curriculum, ensuring it enhances pedagogy, deepens learning and fosters collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a teaching Degree (PGCE/QTS), a proven track record of successful curriculum leadership (e.g., Head of Department), and a deep understanding of pedagogical technology integration, such as AI, VR or 1:1 device initiatives

Lead the strategic development of digital learning across the School

  • Support colleagues in embedding technology effectively within their teaching

  • Contribute to the development of the school’s digital ecosystem and operational systems

  • Teach Computing in the Prep School

  • Support the school’s ambition to become a sector-leading Apple Distinguished School

This role would suit an excellent classroom practitioner who combines strong pedagogical understanding with a passion for innovation, and who is excited by the opportunity to shape the next phase of digital learning within a large and ambitious Prep school.

In return, the school offers:

  • A highly supportive and collaborative academic environment

  • Significant investment in digital learning and infrastructure
