About Stoke High School - Ormiston Academy
Welcome to Stoke High School. We are an inclusive comprehensive school which sits in the heart of our community and we are incredibly proud of our achievements.
Underlying everything we do is our belief in the value and importance of individuals: both students and staff. We want our young people to have confidence in their own abilities and to develop independence, initiative, resilience and be self-regulated learners – both inside and outside the classroom. We believe that our students have an entitlement to a first class education and we provide them with the opportunities they need to excel. We ensure all students are challenged, stimulated and equipped for the complex demands of the future. In return we expect them to work hard and respect and value others.
Our philosophy of focusing on delivering our core values of “respect, inspire, achieve” is key to our success in developing an ever improving school. We have a created a positive, forward thinking and supportive environment: one in which I am confident that everyone can thrive.
I am proud of the school and the journey that we have been on. I am thrilled to be its new Principal. Our ambition is to be the best school in Ipswich, to excel in everything that we do and to continue to find ways in which we can build our role in supporting and serving our community.
