About Step Out Internal Provision
Those of us in the field of education are acutely aware of the ongoing challenges with student behaviour and attendance, especially in the aftermath of COVID-19. At Astrea, we're actively investing in addressing these issues within the communities we serve.
Throughout the 2023/4 academic year, we've developed plans that showcase our commitment through tangible actions, not just words. 2024 will mark the introduction of our inaugural 'Step Out' provision in South Yorkshire, designed to support consistent attendance and provide the necessary space and support some of our most vulnerable students need to re-engage with their learning journey.
Located at our newly 'GOOD' school in Doncaster, Woodfields, this 'Step Out' programme will be the first in a series of similar initiatives across South Yorkshire and Cambridgeshire, all aimed at disrupting the exclusion cycle and affording every child the opportunity to succeed.
