We are a school community for pupils aged 2 years to 19 years, that is committed and dedicated to providing the very best education and experiences for our pupils. We challenge, motivate and empower individuals with the skills and knowledge for a life beyond school. We support our pupils to develop a joy of learning and provide opportunities for adventures and meaningful experiences to develop brighter futures.
Our staff team at Stanton Vale are dedicated and incredibly positive, celebrating every child and young person as an individual, always seeing the potential of every pupil and ensuring they reach that potential. Our staff team are aspirational and inspirational for themselves and for our pupils and their families.
We are a supportive community where everyone is valued and individuality is celebrated.
Our core values of:
Working Together – Team work and collaboration
Respect – Celebrate and embrace our differences
Aspirations – To be the best you can be
Potential – Reaching everyone’s individual goals are the life blood of the school and can be seen in everything we do.
Relationships between staff and pupils are extremely positive and a strength of the school. Relationships are fundamental to school life at Stanton Vale and it is through strong relationships with our pupils, their families and other agencies that we prepare our pupils for the transition into adulthood.
Our five curriculum Pathways and Avenues are broad, balanced and ambitious. Our Pathways are from Years 2 -8 and from here pupils move into an Avenue in Years 9-14.
Our curriculum drivers of communication, independence and physical and emotional development (CID) run through all areas of the curriculum and adapted to each individual pupil.
I am incredibly privileged to be the Headteacher of Stanton Vale and to lead such a dedicated team working with incredible young people and their families.
