Stanstead Flying High Academy is dedicated to becoming the first-choice school for all local families. Situated on Stanstead Avenue in Rise Park, Nottingham City, our school is a nurturing environment. Tanya Smith was appointed Headteacher in September 2021. Within her first year, she successfully guided us through a positive OFSTED inspection in January 2021, where we were praised as a "Good" school. The inspection highlighted the cheerful and caring atmosphere at Stanstead, where staff prioritize student needs and ensure a safe environment for all.

At Stanstead, we emphasise the importance of behaviour and values, encapsulated in our 'Stanstead star.'

We are fortunate to have beautiful school grounds, including a field, trim trail, sensory garden, and an ECO garden. Our facilities are designed to enhance learning and encourage outdoor education.

Our dedicated staff are the backbone of our school. We are committed to their professional development, offering training opportunities through INSET days, the Flying High Trust, and collaborations with the Nottingham City Council. Moreover, we support staff in pursuing National Professional Qualifications for leadership, fully funded by the school, and provide opportunities for progression within the trust.
