St. Teresa’s is a Roman Catholic Voluntary Aided School. We serve the parish of Trent Vale, catering for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. The school is owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham and is maintained by Stoke-on-Trent City Council. The school day starts at 8:50am and ends at 3:15pm.
Our school is dedicated to St. Teresa of Lisieux, one of the best-loved saints in the Church and known as "The Little Flower."
Therese Martin was born at Alencon, in France on January 2nd 1873. She entered the Carmelite Monastery at Lisieux aged 15. She died nine years later on September 30th 1897 when she was just 24.
She showed us how to follow her "Little Way," by doing the ordinary, everyday things, extraordinarily well. And so, no matter how small and insignificant we may feel, we all have something positive to contribute to our school family. Our pupils and staff are encouraged to keep this mantra at the heart of each and every day.
'With Christ we grow in faith and understanding'
St. Teresa’s Catholic Primary School enables each individual to be the very best that they can be,as children of God, with a God-given potential and an eternal destiny.
