As a Catholic school, everyone is valued as a child of God and we view all aspects of school life to be part of the wider faith community of parish, home and school, along with All Saints in Mansfield as our secondary school.
St Patrick’s is a Voluntary Academy, which is part of Our Lady of Lourdes Trust.
Through living out our mission statement ‘Belonging, Sharing and Caring’, children at St Patrick’s are enthusiastic, happy learners and are confident in expressing their faith.
At St Patrick’s you will receive a happy and warm welcome from all our children, staff, parents and governors.

St Patrick’s is a joyful community where everyone feels welcome, valued and respected.
Our children are at the heart of every decision we make as we want them to be happy, safe and able to learn. We provide opportunities that are relevant to their needs both now and in the future.
Relationships are at the very heart of all we do. We are passionate about providing pupils’ with responsibility learning behaviours so that they feel empowered to develop life skills such as confidence, reliance and collaboration.
I am very proud of everyone in our St Patrick’s school parish community. Our children shine in their love for each, based upon the Gospel message of ‘Loving god and your neighbour as you love yourself’. Pupils show a desire to learn and are dedicated, passionate and hard working. We aspire to the highest standards in everything we do and this is further embedded through our successful relationships with parents, the Parish community and other local schools. We firmly believe that education is a partnership between home and school and we value your contributions and support- Together we achieve More!
The Catholic life of the school underpins everything else at St Patrick’s. Everyday, we live out our vocation which shines out through high quality RE teaching, a strong Chaplaincy Team, child-led collective worship and our school parish mission to look after those in the parish and wider community. We encourage everyone to ‘let their lights shine brightly’ in all they say and do.
We are always very happy to welcome visits from prospective families. This is the best way to meet the children and staff, feel the school’s warm, family atmosphere and experience the Catholic ethos which is at the heart of everything we do.
‘And this is the confidence that we have toward Him- that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us’.
Thank you for visiting!
