St. Michael's Church of England Primary Academy is a small primary school of approximately 210 pupils at the heart of Handsworth, Birmingham.

St Michael’s Church of England Primary Academy is a Christian school for the whole community. By admitting children on the basis of the proximity of their home to the school, St Michael’s Academy is fully inclusive and welcomes children and families of all faiths and none.

We are proud to be part of Handsworth and believe it is a community rich in talent, culture and lived experiences.

Our values of Community, Aspiration, Learning and Love underpin everything that we do at St. Michael's. 

We pride ourselves on trying to do things differently for the betterment of our families and pupils. From our nurture farm consisting of animals ranging from alpacas, lambs and a naughty goat called Buster, to our unique curriculum designed around the drivers of cultural heritage, faith and aspiration, we are passionate about our children fulfilling their  God-given talents and aspiring to achieve a university education.
