About St Michael's Church of England Primary Academy

Welcome to St Michael’s Church of England Primary Academy!

We are a large primary school with the capacity for 420 pupils, however, we have a village school feel with close links with the community, parents, and other organisations.

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

Our vision is inspired by 'The Parable of the Sower' taken from the synoptic gospels. Matthew 13:1–23, Mark 4:1–20, Luke 8:4–15

The parable talks of how the good news of God is offered freely to everyone and that different people respond to it in different ways. In the same way, as a school, our Christian foundation permeates through all we do in an inclusive and invitational way, recognising that our school family bring with them their own beliefs and world views which will shape their response.
