St. Mary of Charity C of E Primary School is a 1 form entry Church of England Primary School in the heart of Faversham, serving the local community. The school is part of Aquila, The Diocese of Canterbury Multi Academy Trust (www.aquilatrust.co.uk). The school has a hard working, friendly and committed staff team and an active Governing Body. We are an inclusive school that encourages children to be curious, passionate, ambitious and courageous, making excellent use of our close links to Faversham to enhance our curriculum offer for all pupils. We are committed to ensuring that all members of our community reach their potential which includes strong CPD practises for all staff. The school has been judged Good with Outstanding Early Years Provision in July 2025 and successfully lives up to its foundation as a church school with notable strengths (SIAMs May 2025). 
St Mary of Charity C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all trustees, staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Criminal Record Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service along with other relevant employment checks, online recruitment checks and overseas criminal background checks, where applicable.  All new trustees, employees and volunteers will be required to undertake safeguarding training on induction which will be regularly updated in line with statutory guidance.
