Welcome to St Luke and St Philip’s 

St Luke and St Philip’s Church of England Primary Academy is a warm, welcoming and inclusive school at the heart of its community. Rooted in strong Christian values and close links with the parish and Diocese, our school is a place where children are encouraged to flourish academically, spiritually and personally. Our Christian Values are Trust, Truth, Peace and Thankfulness are at the heart of all aspects of school life. Ofsted have reported our school as, “a small oasis in the middle of a socially deprived area”.

Our school provides a grounding in the Christian faith for all its children with emphasis on collective worship as part of its daily life.  Christian values are built into the ethos and teaching of our school with the support of all Governors and staff for its Christian foundation.  We also seek to encourage an understanding and respect for other world faiths.
