St Louis Catholic Primary School is a school for all children. It is a family school with Gospel values at it's centre. Compassion, high standards and expectations are at the heart of what we do. Children come to school and are valued for who they are and are developed in a loving, caring environment.

We nurture every child to enjoy every new challenge in school and ...to love, wonder and achieve together. We aim to provide the very best for every child in our school and to help them to fulfil their potential. Our curriculum aims to help our children grow in every way – not just academically but in their individuality and uniqueness. School is a happy place where the children develop a love for learning and their sense of faith. Compassion and respect are shown by all members of our school and these are evident to everyone that comes to St Louis. The welfare of each and every member of our school community is integral to the Catholic ethos of the school. 

We are in the heart of the market town of Frome. Our school is a one form entry school that is organised into 7 classes and we are the only primary school in the town of Frome. We enjoy close links with the parish of St Catharine. Since January 2024, we are very proud to have joined Dunstan Catholic Education Trust (DCET). DCET are a family of Catholic schools situated in the South West of England. With the purpose to provide excellent education, to celebrate the uniqueness of our schools and each member in them and to welcome everyone.

Being part of DCET enables St Louis to be in a community of Catholic schools where children receive an all-round education rooted in Christian values in an nurturing environment where they can flourish and become lifelong learners and fulfil their potential.
