About St Lawrence Church of England Primary School
Our children, families, staff and governors work in close partnership to create enriching learning opportunities within a happy, secure Christian environment.
The ethos of the school welcomes families of all faiths and none, recognising and celebrating the heritage that all families bring to our school. We have very high expectations of behaviour at St Lawrence and place the value of respect at the heart of all we do.
Our curriculum aims to encourage children to develop the skills they need for later life with a very strong focus on the basic skills of English and Maths.
Our curriculum also covers much wider areas of learning and we offer numerous enrichment activities such as clubs and visits. We work very hard at St Lawrence but we also believe that learning should be fun. Children are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to develop skills which will make them better learners.
We are all very proud to be part of the St Lawrence community and always welcome visitors to our school so you can see our learning in action.
