St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

About St Joseph's Catholic Primary School

Welcome to St Joseph’s!
At St Joseph’s, we believe school should be a place where all children feel safe, happy, and inspired to try their best. Our classrooms are filled with laughter, curiosity, and creativity. We learn together, celebrate together, and support one another – building memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

Here at our school, Jesus is at the heart of everything we do. Our ethos is: “To inspire, to learn, to love – with God.”  This shapes every decision we make and every lesson we teach. Rooted in our Catholic mission, we want every child to know that they are loved by God and that they have been given special gifts to share with the world. Whether your child is Catholic or of another faith, they are valued here as a unique and precious individual.
Our curriculum is engaging, ambitious, and designed to spark curiosity whilst catering for each individual child’s needs. We are committed to discovering and nurturing each child’s talents, encouraging them to develop the confidence, skills, and compassion they need to make a positive difference in the world.

We know that a child’s education is a shared journey, so we place great value on our partnerships with parents, our parish, the local community, and the Diocese. Together, we create a supportive family where children can flourish academically, spiritually, and personally.

We are part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust which is a growing family of 63 schools across the Archdiocese of Birmingham, united by a shared mission to deliver excellent Catholic education that transforms lives.

We are inspired by St Gabriel the Archangel and guided by five values that shape our culture: Confidence & Humility, Peace & Courage, Faith in the Impossible, Listening with Love and Service Beyond Self. These values drive our commitment to helping every pupil and colleague flourish within our Trust.
