Our short, simple mission statement explains what we want for the children of St Joseph's; to know and trust in God first and foremost and secondly to trust in themselves in order to achieve great things. 

Our Values

At St Joseph’s, we inspire and nurture our children to be the very best that they can be, trusting God and asking Him to show the way.

We teach children about:

Aspiration (determination to do their best in all that they do)

Resilience (coping with challenges and bouncing back after problems)

Compassion (taking action to help others who are in difficulty)

Opportunity (making the most of every opportunity given, every day)

Our Virtues
As a Catholic School in the Archdiocese of Birmingham, we have embraced the Catholic Schools’ Pupil Profile, which teaches the children a set of eight pairs of virtues to be internalised and cultivated- enabling them to grow in wholeness as fully-rounded individuals in the image of God.  The pairs of virtues are:
