Welcome to St John’s CofE Primary Academy
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you and your child to the St John’s CofE Primary Academy where we believe that every child must enjoy, ‘Life in its Fullness’ John 10:10. St John's is a proud member of the St Bart's Multi-Academy Trust family.
The school is situated in the lovely village of Keele close to Keele University. We currently have 160 children on roll across seven classes. There is also Nursery provision for 3-year-olds and Breakfast and After-school club. We are a happy, thriving school where every child is encouraged flourish to reach their true potential.
As a Church school our fundamental mission is to promote positive values and virtues within our school community in which every person is respected as an individual, made in the image of Christ. The promotion of Christian values and British values are reinforced through the curriculum daily. Our school values of Faith, Hope and Love are a golden thread through everything we do.
Through an extensive and creative curriculum children’s learning is enhanced by a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs. We retain a high regard for the importance of engaging with families through regular communication and contact with parents. Celebration Worship assemblies are held every week, to share children’s achievements and successes; Induction evenings for parents are held in school, regular consultation evenings involve pupils in sharing and discussing their own progress in learning. The school takes part in regular worship at St John’s on occasions such as, Harvest, Christmas, Easter etc. and we are supported by local and trust clergy ensuring our children become part of the parish community and understand Christianity as a worldwide faith.
Whilst I hope you find this brief introduction useful, there can be no substitute for a personal visit and you are warmly invited to visit, by prior arrangement. You can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
Thank you for visiting!
