Welcome to St John’s Church of England Infant School.
It is a real privilege to lead this wonderful school community, supported by a talented and caring team of teachers, support staff, and governors. Together, we share a strong commitment to giving every child the very best start in life and helping to shape bright, confident futures.
At St John’s, we believe in having high expectations for everyone—children and adults alike. We want every child to feel valued, to grow in confidence, and to leave us as polite, independent and resilient learners, equipped with the skills, knowledge and values they need for the next stage of their journey.
Our two school values, faith and love, sit at the heart of everything we do. We encourage our children and staff to live these values every day, especially when they face challenges, helping them to develop kindness, courage and strength of character.
We are passionate about providing a rich, inspiring and safe learning environment rooted in our Christian ethos. Our curriculum is carefully designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity and ensure every child can experience success, whatever their starting point.
We believe strongly in partnership with families and work closely with parents, carers and a range of external professionals to support every child’s development and wellbeing. Together, we aim to ensure that each child achieves their very best.
We are incredibly proud of all our children and the wonderful things they achieve during their time at St John’s.
