The moment you walk through the door, you will notice that creativity runs through our curriculum. You will be provided with a bespoke CPD package to support you to be the very best you can be. Teaching at St Giles Spencer Academy is motivational, creative and fun! Our curriculum is designed around children’s developmental stages of learning, promoting a holistic approach to teaching and learning. At St Giles Spencer Academy, we equip children with the knowledge and cultural capital they need through our key curriculum drivers of Communication, Independence and Community, which is what we feel our children need to thrive now and in the future.

Our thematic Curriculum topics introduce children to the best that has been thought, said, achieved and created, providing lots of opportunities for hands on learning and for teachers to ‘think outside the box!’  Through our personal development offer, we have opportunities for pupils to engage in sensory swimming, forest schools, trips, residential, performances and shows, and outdoor learning.
