I would like to welcome you to St Charles’ Roman Catholic Primary School. Our school is founded in the Catholic faith, and all our actions reflect our belief that every child is a gift created in the image of our God.

There is a real family atmosphere at St Charles’ of which we are very proud. We know all our families well and build on this strong partnership. During our recent ‘Catholic School Inspection’, the inspectors highlighted the ‘relationship between the local parish, school, and families is outstanding’. We ensure our children receive the support and stimulating education they deserve, rooted within our rich Catholic ethos. We are very excited about joining the Romero Catholic Academy Trust in December of this year.

As a parent of three children, I know how important it is for your children to thrive in a happy and safe environment, our most recent OFSTED inspection in March 2025 noted

They feel valued through the compassion and consideration that staff show them.

A nurturing and caring atmosphere permeates the school.

Pupils are charismatic and confident citizens. They state happily that this is a school where everyone is welcome.
