The PGAT role offers graduates an invaluable insight into school life and the teaching profession, alongside meaningful involvement in the academic, pastoral and co‑curricular life of a thriving boarding school with both Senior and Prep School phases.
The Role
PGATs are resident members of staff, living in school
accommodation and forming an integral part of the Boarding Team. The role is
designed to provide broad experience across school operations and departments,
supporting the day‑to‑day running of the Senior and Prep Schools.
While all subject backgrounds will be considered,
applicants must be willing and able to contribute positively to the sports
programme. PGATs also support boarding duties and play an important role in the
pastoral life of the school.
This position is particularly well suited to
graduates considering a future career in teaching, youth work, coaching, or
pastoral care.
The Ideal Candidate
