Welcome to St Catharine’s Primary School.
I would like to warmly welcome you to St Catharine’s. It is a privilege for me to be the Head Teacher of this school, and I would like to share with you what underpins our work here.
St. Catharine’s Catholic Primary School is a family based on the love of God and each other. All children are precious and unique, and the special talents that each person brings to St Catharine’s are celebrated, in partnership with home, parish and the wider community. St Catharine’s provides a happy, secure learning environment, and a rich curriculum, through which all children are encouraged to ‘be more’ and to strive to make a difference.
Our staff, Governors and Parents work to cultivate self-confident young people who proudly celebrate all the things that make them unique individuals. This explains our school motto, which is central to our whole ethos: we encourage our pupils to “Let your light shine” every day, prompting them to fulfil their potential and maximise their talents.
