St. Bernadette's is a Catholic Primary School offering full–time
education for Reception to Year 6 (4-11 year olds), from September 2026 we also
have a Nursery (3 year olds) Situated about a mile from Brownhills High Street
in a pleasant location, with attractive grounds.
At St. Bernadette’s, our staff work closely with children, parents, and
the parish to provide the very best education for every child. Our pupils are
at the heart of everything we do. While we value academic achievement, we also
believe that school should be an enjoyable experience, helping children to grow
and succeed across many different areas.
We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports,
making the most of our small but wonderful playing fields. Our school provides
a happy, safe, and supportive environment where children can explore beyond the
classroom, developing independence and the confidence to become responsible,
well-rounded adults.
Every child is unique, and we design a curriculum that meets individual
needs. We know that children thrive when challenged and encouraged, so we hold
high expectations and foster a belief in every child that they can succeed.
Learning at St. Bernadette’s goes far beyond books; we embrace new technology,
provide exciting opportunities, and create experiences that inspire curiosity
and a love of learning.
Pastoral care is a cornerstone of our school. We value each student,
nurture good behaviour, courtesy, and responsibility, and provide the right
balance of challenge and support so that all children can flourish. Through
learning, living, and praying together as part of our Catholic community, we
aim to help every child recognise and celebrate their God-given gifts and
talents.
The
school was rated "Good" by Ofsted in the summer term of 2024.
