About this Role

This exciting role offers the opportunity for a talented, innovative teacher and dynamic leader to significantly influence and enhance the inclusive education provision within our College.

The successful candidate will demonstrate not only exemplary teaching skills but also a deep commitment to inclusive education, enabling students with SEND to fully access our rigorous curriculum. You will play a critical role in working directly with students and their families, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported in reaching their full potential. Your excellent communication and collaborative skills will be essential as you lead and inspire a dedicated team of Teaching Partners and fellow teaching staff, fostering a cohesive approach to inclusion across the College.

We are looking for a passionate and visionary individual capable of coordinating and driving forward our 'Assess, Plan, Do, Review' processes. You will take responsibility for liaising with external professionals and Local Authorities, writing and reviewing EHCPs, and managing effective interventions. As part of your leadership role, you will actively contribute to professional development initiatives across the College, helping colleagues adopt strategies that enhance the educational experience of our SEND students.

St Augustine’s Catholic College offers an encouraging environment characterised by continuous professional growth, a supportive community, and a shared commitment to our Catholic Lasallian values. We pride ourselves on nurturing individuals who can positively impact society, as recently recognised by OFSTED. If you have the vision, passion, and dedication required for this rewarding position, we look forward to receiving your application.

Please ensure you complete all sections of the application form, particularly your supporting statement, clearly articulating your interest, suitability, and vision for this crucial role within our College community.
