About St Augustine's Catholic College
We are a Catholic, Lasallian College. St John Baptist De La Salle is the patron saint of all teachers. For over 300 years, his work and teachings have inspired millions of people. At the heart of his message is that we should treat each child as the “son or daughter of a great king”. This gospel message of recognising and celebrating the dignity and worth of each person is at the heart of what we do.
The strength of our College is in the quality of the relationships we build with each other. We are a place of learning and believe that every child is entitled to learn in a safe and disruption-free environment. These are the foundations that we are building our College on.
The children in our care are filled with a wealth of talents, gifts and potential that God has given to them and our task is to challenge them to discover this for themselves.
At St Augustine’s we are mindful that we are preparing the future citizens and leaders of our society who will know how to treat others with respect and who understand the importance of promoting peace and justice.
