Prayer and worship are an important part of school life and children from different faith backgrounds, or of none, pray, live, learn and play together. We aim to equip each child with the knowledge and skills to enable them to make positive choices for themselves, others and their world.

St Winefride’s School has been part of the history of Shepshed for over a century, educating families over several generations. We’ve grown and developed over the years; in 2017 we expanded our wrap-around care to include both a Breakfast and an After-School Club. 2018 saw us become part of the St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Multi-Academy Trust and in 2019 we opened our very successful pre-school, Little Winnies.
