About this Role

Job Purpose

Supporting leadership and management across RLT schools to develop effective collaborative approaches to PE and co-curricular activities across the trust.


  • Build on current, and establish new, rich and exciting cross-trust PE opportunities for RLT primary pupils

  • Support school leaders and colleagues co-ordinating PE within individual schools

  • Maintain and further develop the existing PE network across RLT primary schools, facilitating communication, sharing of best practice and leading network meetings

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Liaise with external sport providers and agencies to develop enhanced sporting activities across the trust

  • Lead on established PE events and activities

  • Devise, organise and deliver further cross-trust PE competitions and appropriate activities

  • Prepare an action plan for enrichment

  • Communicate effectively with the SCPs/DDoE to deliver the action plan

  • Provide feedback to schools, the CEO and the Trust Board as necessary on progress against the action plan.
