We are incredibly proud to have opened River Academy — an inspiring new secondary school that benefits from a multi-million-pound building programme and state-of-the-art facilities. Since welcoming our first students in September 2024, we have created a vibrant, supportive and enriching environment where exceptional teaching and learning thrive, and where every student is encouraged to achieve their very best.

When full, River Academy will be home to 1,200 students aged 11–18, representing a diverse mix of abilities and backgrounds. In addition, we have opened The Bridge, a resource base for 35 students with moderate learning difficulties.  As part of the Maiden Erlegh Trust, we share a strong reputation for high achievement, inclusivity and innovation across our family of schools. The Trust provides outstanding opportunities for career development, collaboration and professional growth at every stage.
