Our vision and values permeate through the whole curriculum and can only be achieved through the children, staff, parents and governors demonstrating our core values of “Respect, Belief, Excellence”.
At Rise Park Junior School we:
Value every member of our community
Enhance and celebrate our similarities and differences
Recognise our lifelong ability to learn and grow
Rise to all inspiring opportunities
The Rise Park Academy Trust opened in 2014 when our two academies were opened, from which time they have gone from strength to strength, achieving two Ofsted ‘Good’ judgements in 2023.
Our popular and successful early years centre for Reception children was opened in 2013, followed by a Year 5/6 junior school block in 2015 and a dedicated nursery provision in 2017. Our most recent projects have been the construction of a large Multi-Use Games Area, an all-weather sports pitch for both schools, which has now been completed, as well as a sensory pod area and surrounding garden for SEND and disadvantaged pupils in our schools, which is currently being developed. The schools also have a purpose-built heated outdoor swimming pool as an additional facility which enables us to offer swimming lessons to all of our pupils as a key life skill.
The Local Committee, Senior Leadership Team, staff and pupils are very proud of our broad and varied provision, which is strongly supported by an active and successful PTFA, as well as a very close school community.
Our curriculum vision is based upon our seven “Learning Powers” of Respect, Inspiration, Self-Belief, Excellence, Passion, Achievement, Resilience and Knowledge, which also encompasses our three key values of “Respect, Belief, Excellence”.
This vision is lived and realised by all of our children and staff at all times, as part of our day-to-day school life.
Our academies joined the Success For All Educational Trust in September 2021, which also includes Redden Court School, Royal Liberty School and Sanders School, all of which are very popular secondary schools in Havering. This professional relationship between both primary and secondary phases has already produced many significant benefits, including effective transitions to the next stage of our pupils’ education, exciting teaching and learning opportunities, greater opportunities for staff career development and the advantage of being able to apply economies of scale when resourcing our schools as members of a larger multi academy trust.
We welcome all parents, visitors and other agencies to work with us in partnership, as we continue to enhance and improve our educational offer to all of the children in our care. The children are a true asset to the school and our dedicated and hardworking team of staff are a pleasure to work with.
