A warm welcome!

Welcome to Redbourn Primary School and thank you for your interest in our school. I hope this page will answer many of your questions about who we are and what we do, but please remember there is no substitute for a visit. I invite you to come and meet our staff and children and to experience yourselves the warmth of a Redbourn welcome. 

This is indeed a school where every child matters and this fact is reflected in the school’s commitment to inclusive education. All staff value each and every one of our pupils as individuals and our aim is to ensure that coming to school is a positive experience for all of them: we understand that children learn best when they are happy and feel secure.

Ofsted carried out a routine inspection in March 2025 and rated us as 'Good' in all areas. Please click on the link to read the full report.

You will see that inspectors found that ‘pupils benefit from a broad and ambitious curriculum’ and that ‘pupils enjoy lessons and learning new facts.’ Inspectors commented on how ‘the school has high expectations of pupils’ behaviour’ and highlighted that ‘pupils behave well in class and around the school.’ 

The Ofsted report celebrates that pupils are ‘calm, polite and friendly’ and that ‘pupils and staff are supportive and show respect to each other.’ This helps to build a positive culture.’ Inspectors state that ‘pupils are encouraged to be tolerant’ and we are proud the team recognised that our pupils ‘understand and celebrate each other’s differences.’ Something we are immensely proud of.
