At Queens, we believe in the value of every child and adult who enters through our doors. We work hard to ensure that all those who become part of our school community feel valued, happy and respected to recognise their role in making our school a better place.
All staff, working in partnership with children, parents and governors, strive to ensure the best possible education for each child as well as equip them with the life skills they require to become a valuable member of society.
We believe that all our children deserve the best and our aim is to help them reach their potential in every area of school life - academic, spiritual, social, personal and physical. We endeavour to make learning a positive experience which will stay with the children long after they have left Queens Academy and help shape their future.
The staff and governors are motivated by what they know to be right for the children at Queens and they have high expectations of themselves and pupils alike, fostering in all children a belief that they can succeed.
As a Church of England school, it is our mission to celebrate and expose children to the Christian faith as well as embracing other cultures. We value every child's uniqueness and recognise the importance of enabling pupils to develop spiritually as children of God. Our vision at Queens, ‘Love in Action’ (Romans 12:10), enables children to be happy, feel safe and learn well; they are encouraged to be resilient, respectful, honest and add ‘oomph’ to all they do.
