Pinxton Village Academies is the collective name for Longwood Infant Academy, John King Infant Academy, and Kirkstead Junior Academy. Our unique structure is led by a single Senior Leadership Team and supported by one Governing Board, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone is nurtured and cared for. In 2018, we proudly joined the Flying High Trust, working collaboratively with our Trust colleagues to achieve our shared goal of being the best schools in the universe!

To support our desire for 'oneness' across our infant and junior schools, a joint vision was agreed upon by Pinxton Village Academies staff. It states that we will:

• Achieve every day

Our new motto, "Stronger Together," reflects that the three schools are working together more closely as a single school.

Our mission statement has remained the same: to teach children how to learn for life by providing them with skills and experiences to inspire limitless aspirations.

We believe that education is a partnership between children, parents, staff, and governors. By working together, we can motivate children to succeed in all areas of their development. Our school motto, "Stronger Together," captures this aspiration perfectly.

Our Head Teacher is passionate about educating young people and is dedicated to leading a team of talented children and staff. With a hands-on approach to teaching and learning, our Head Teacher ensures that pupils make excellent progress and that Pinxton Village Academies are the best they can be.

We aim for our children to leave Pinxton Village Academies with a lifelong love of learning and a curiosity that will help them develop high aspirations and the skills needed for successful futures. Everything we do is based on our Trust values of confidence, responsibility, perseverance, creativity, enjoyment, aspiration, and pride.

At Pinxton Village Academies, we are passionate about teaching and learning and proud of our achievements. We strive for excellence by aiming high and ensuring that learning is fun. We continually strive to:
