We are a Junior Academy that:

➢ Is at the centre of its community; a vibrant and welcoming venue, acting as a resource and a catalyst to community and individual growth.   

At Pheasant Bank, inclusivity and the personal development of pupils at the heart of all that we do. Our aim is to ensure that all of our children understand they have a right to be happy and safe and that they can play a positive and active role in society. We advocate the importance of showing respect and celebrating diversity. At Pheasant Bank Academy, we want pupils to be aware of the natural world around them and understand the actions they can take to appreciate and look after the environment too. Our academy principals are displayed prominently, referred to on a regular basis and sit at the forefront of everything we do. 

Providing a stimulating and welcoming learning environment where all members of the school community feel safe, valued and respected is something we feel very passionate about and we aim to develop independence, individuality and the confidence to take risks through challenging learning opportunities. Our academy aims to be an integral part of the wider community, which values, enriches and provides diverse opportunities for all.  In an ever-changing world, we aim to equip pupils with the skills to succeed and take their place as caring responsible citizens of the future.
