At Pemberley our mission statement is ‘Exceptional Experiences Everyday’ and this forms the basis of everything that we do. From the quality of teaching that each child receives, to the volume and variety of after school clubs to the additional trips and visits our students can access, we believe that their time with us should reflect the quality of the experiences they are accessing.

Message from the Headteacher

As the new Headteacher of Pemberley Academy, I am very excited about the changes and new opportunities ahead for our school. We are committed to ensuring that our pupils are at the forefront of everything we do and that all staff members have our pupils’ very best interests at heart, with positive relationships and an understanding of child development as key elements of our practice.

We are very proud of the welcoming, caring, and enthusiastic approach we have established at Pemberley and are highly ambitious for our pupils, always striving to ensure all children reach their full potential. Everyone at Pemberley has high expectations and aspirations for our children in terms of learning and behaviour; we expect all children to succeed. We are a very diverse school with an inclusive approach to education, and value all of our children equally.

We are also highly committed to our ethos of ‘Exceptional Experiences Everyday’ and will strive to ensure staff members go above and beyond to ensure the children have exceptional learning experiences, offering a range of extra-curricular opportunities and exciting learning experiences linked to the wider community and beyond. We are proud of our local area and the community links we have developed, both within our school community and Harlow, and look forward to continuing to develop these wonderful relationships.
