About Parkside Community Primary School
We truly believe that the pupils at our school are being inspired towards a bright future because of the opportunities that are open to them through the care that they receive from our highly dedicated and professional staff. We have high expectations of our pupils and stakeholders and strive for our values to be lived out by all who work and learn at Parkside Community Primary School.
Our creative curriculum allows us to bring ‘learning to life.’ Our approach is designed to teach the breadth of the National Curriculum and encourages all learners to be inquisitive and to deepen their knowledge about the world around them. Enrichment experiences help to build pupils’ cultural capital so that they have a deeper appreciation of what it means to be a citizen of the 21st century in an ever-changing world.
Our excellent facilities and resources help us to deliver on our mission and a supportive parent and carer body makes Parkside a true community school. We are extremely proud of all that our school has to offer and of our pupil outcomes.
Our goal is to raise achievement for each and every one of our children through our school vision statement: ‘Nurturing and Inspiring young minds towards a brighter future.” We achieve a great deal of success by forming a partnership with our children, our families, our staff and our governors, all working together within the local community. Many parents are generous with their time, helping the children and saving costs. They work in classrooms, maintain our library or use skills such as gardening or sports. It all helps.
