At Packmoor Ormiston Academy we strongly believe children should feel safe, happy, inspired, supported and challenged to enjoy and achieve in and out of school. High expectations for good behaviour are fundamental if our children are to develop positive long-term relationships and remain happy and safe. To this end staff promote an environment in which pupil voice has a genuine impact on raising achievement, encourages a sense of mutual responsibility and inclusivity; fostering an ethos of achievement which recognises effort and celebrates success.

Partnership between home and school, working together for the benefit of your children and to raise standards, is genuinely valued. We believe that parental interest, encouragement and support are vital to a child’s development and happiness. 

Over the last couple of years there have been significant improvements inside and outside of the academy; a fantastic new outdoor learning space for children in our Early Years, a planned full redecoration throughout the entire building, new Key Stage 1 playground and lots of new technology, on top of the fantastic grounds the school is already situated in. There are further plans afoot to continue to make improvements so that we are able to provide the very best learning experiences to children in our community.
