Oxfordshire Hospital School (OHS) is an Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) maintained Hospital School based across a number of settings throughout the county of Oxfordshire. The school serves children and young people aged 5-18 who are unable to attend their enrolled school due to a wide range of medical and mental health needs.

We are proud of the learning culture we have created at the school and the strong values that extend from this. We are innovative and skilled professionals who have developed inspirational approaches and safe, supportive learning environments to improve outcomes for young people. We are also proud of the relationships that we develop with our stakeholders; families, young people, schools, Health Care Trusts, charities and other professional groups which underpin our holistic understanding and facilitates well matched, yet ambitious, learning pathways and outcomes.

At the OHS, we believe in a completely personalised approach. We are dedicated to providing individualised support and guidance, and a curriculum tailored to meet the needs of each student. This personalised approach is a golden thread that is woven into the fabric of our school and can be seen in everything we do – from our systems and processes to our teaching methods and relationships with pupils.

Our Outreach and business base is moving in late September 2024 to Cuddesdon Way, Oxford  OX4 6SB
