Our Lady's is a small nursery and primary school in Dalton-in-Furness,  Cumbria with just under 100 pupils currently on roll. 

We are a very welcoming school and strive to ensure that Gospel Values permeate daily life and our school curriculum. We have an open door policy so parents can come and discuss any needs or concerns as soon as possible.  Our dedicated staff have excellent relationships with pupils, parents and our parish community; working partnerships of which we are proud.

We always strive to ensure that Our Lady's School provides  a happy, caring  environment, where everyone works hard and achieves their best.  Our aim is to give our pupils the skills to become life long learners, so that they can become exemplary citizens of the future.

Our  nursery is placed in high regard within the local community.  It is a proud addition to our Early Years provision -'Nursery is having a positive impact, ... children in the Reception year start with knowledge and skills at or above those that are typical of their age'.   - (Ofsted 2016)

Here at Our Lady's, we are proud of the 'warm, family feel of the school which is prized by staff,  parents and pupils.' - (Ofsted 2016).  We offer many exciting and creative learning opportunities.

 We provide a variety of extra-curricular activities  throughout the year, including netball, football, Lego, dance and gymnastics.
