Our School mission is underpinned by the Gospel values of, Respect, Truth, Justice, Peace, Charity and Forgiveness. Within these core values, the Academy begins a journey of ‘Demand more… Inspire curiosity… Secure resilience to failure’ to support families in nurturing children to be young adults of integrity and academic excellence.
Our patron saint is St Chad, whose life as a monk and his dedication to the faith inspires the whole Community to achieve ‘beyond’ their potential. Our students wear the St Chad Cross on their ties and blazers showing that they too are ‘inspirers of the faith’.
Our Academy passionately believes that we are ‘Strong alone, but unstoppable together’ and it is this Philosophy which enables us to continue the work of the early Apostles and ensure that the Mission of the Church is alive, vibrant and lived by all members of the St Francis and St Clare Catholic MAC family.
Throughout their Academy experience, children are taught the importance of being a good person. Students from Our Lady and St Chad are unique. They understand the importance of learning and growing in an environment where Gospel values and virtues are implicit to expectations and achievement.
We are part of St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust which is a growing family of 63 schools across the Archdiocese of Birmingham, united by a shared mission to deliver excellent Catholic education that transforms lives.
We are inspired by St Gabriel the Archangel and guided by five values that shape our culture: Confidence & Humility, Peace & Courage, Faith in the Impossible, Listening with Love and Service Beyond Self. These values drive our commitment to helping every pupil and colleague flourish within our Trust.
