About Oundle School
Welcome to Oundle School
Oundle School is a leading coeducational boarding and day
school for pupils aged 11 to 18, while Laxton Junior School provides education
for children aged 4 to 11. Together, they form an ambitious and closely
connected community at the heart of the historic market town of Oundle.
Behind the success of both schools is a large and
dedicated team of colleagues working across catering, domestic operations,
estates, business operations, grounds, administration, healthcare, pastoral
care, sport and many other areas. Every role plays an important part in
supporting the daily life of the schools and helping children and young people
to thrive.
We are a busy, purposeful and welcoming community where
people take pride in their work, support one another and contribute to a shared
sense of purpose. Whether working with pupils directly or in one of our
operational teams, staff are valued for the difference they make each day.
One of the things that makes Oundle distinctive is its
setting. Rather than being contained within a single campus, the schools are
woven throughout the town, creating an unusual and engaging environment in
