About OTT SCITT
The School of Teaching and Learning (formerly OTT SCITT) is a dynamic, schools-led Initial Teacher Training (ITT) organisation, first accredited by the Department for Education in 2013. We are an accredited SCITT provider and part of the River Learning Trust, working closely alongside the Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub.
We have an excellent reputation for the quality of our programmes, our inclusive ethos and our strong, collaborative relationships with schools. We are proud of the impact we have across our partnership and the wider education system, and we are excited to be continuing to grow and develop further.
We currently work with around 160 schools across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and surrounding areas, supporting approximately 215 Associate Teachers (our term for trainee teachers) across primary, special and secondary phases.
