About Northstowe Learning Community
We are delighted to welcome you to Northstowe
Learning Community. Located in Cambridgeshire,
this is a suite of new schools beginning in 2019 with Northstowe Secondary
College. We were proud to announce the opening of our Northstowe Primary School
and Northstowe Sixth Form College in September 2024. We are a learning
community that is creating an inclusive, innovative, and aspirational learning environment
for the children and families it serves. Northstowe Learning Community holds the three key values of kindness,
curiosity, and hard work. All staff members are expected to demonstrate those
values towards others and to teach these to the children.
In March 2023, our school received our
first ever Ofsted inspection with the result of ‘Good’. In the Ofsted report,
it was said that ‘Pupils are happy. If pupils have a problem, there is always
an adult that they can turn to. Pupils feel they benefit from the reassurance
staff offer and other strategies provided, such as access to Oscar the dog.’ Pupils
appreciate how teachers reward them for their achievements and conduct. This
motivates them to do their best. Pupils are respectful to those who are different
